The project, titled "Maintenance of ACCELEROGRAPH NON-COLOCATED, REIS, and INTENSITY METER Networks," is a critical initiative aimed at ensuring the operational integrity and reliability of seismic monitoring infrastructure in Indonesia. With 121 locations for ACCELEROGRAPH NON-COLOCATED and 73 locations for REIS, the project aims to maintain and optimize the performance of these critical systems.

The ACCELEROGRAPH NON-COLOCATED equipment, deployed at 65 locations in 2021, includes stations such as Indrapuri Climatology Station, Singkil Regional Disaster Management Agency, and Belawan Meteorological Station. Additionally, the REIS equipment, maintained at 23 locations, includes stations like Pinang Sori Sibolga and Rao.

Indonesia is prone to damaging earthquakes, necessitating a robust seismic monitoring network. The ACCELEROGRAPH NON-COLOCATED and INTENSITY METER systems, installed since 2010, continuously operate to monitor ground vibrations caused by earthquakes. The maintenance activities aim to prevent system deterioration and ensure the reliable operation of the seismic monitoring infrastructure.
